Area of the Month: Chorleywood

This month we explore the exciting village of Chorleywood. This vibrant, suburban village offers both beautiful rural walks with rolling hills and rivers, and plenty of urban amenities. The highstreet itself also has everything to offer, from shops and cafes, to restaurants and hairdressers!

The village also has its own train station, which offers train lines directly into central London. You are also only a few stops away from the bustling town of Watford, which provides a new level of entertainment with cinemas, bowling and its very own, very versatile shopping centre.

This highly sought after area also offers multiple well regarded primary and secondary schools, examples of two particularly popular ones are The Russell Primary School and St Clement Danes School, both receiving "Good" and "Outstanding" Ofsted results.

Chorleywood also offers plenty of untouched land, such as rich woodland area, beautiful rivers and green valleys, so it is perfect for those who enjoy walks.

The Black Horse is a very popular traditional pub, situated just on the common, presenting a broad menu which offers a display of high quality foods, with a rustic feel to the inside and a spacious undercover garden that is great for all year round use. And, the best part is, this pub is just one of many! The Gate and The White Horse are two more very popular examples.
